Welcome to VIII EIEC
Sala de conferências

Since its first edition at Laredo (Santander, Spain), on July 2000, the Iberian Meeting on Computational Electromagnetics has been held with remarkable success for six additional times: Aracena (Huelva, Spain, 2001), Sedano (Burgos, Spain, 2003), Seia (Guarda, Portugal, 2005), Aiguablava (Girona, Spain, 2007), Chiclana de La Frontera (Cádiz, Spain, 2008) and Monfragüe (Caceres, Spain, 2010). These periodic meetings allow members and leaders of Portuguese and Spanish research groups involved in applications of Electromagnetism to the various branches of Electrical Engineering, to share information about their research lines. These contacts try to foster the starting of new collaborations between the members of a community whose activity could be diluted in the context of wider scope conferences and symposia. This fact favors cooperation agreements which can lead to joint projects. The meeting differs from regular conferences or symposia in the format. Long presentations focused on the research lines of the groups rather than on punctual contributions are favored. State of the art and relevant global results are usually presented. This eighth edition of the meeting will be organized by the Instituto de Telecomunicações and Instituto Superior Técnico. The sugested topics, for this conference, are:
